This is a 3 hour session for Nurses, Support Workers and Domestic Staff who work in Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Sheltered Living and Domicilliary Care.

  • factors involved in elder abuse
  • the signs and symptoms of abuse
  • the roles, responsibility and boundaries of others
  • reporting abuse
  • accurate recording
  • whistleblowing and complaints
  • sources of support following disclosure of abuse
